Are you looking for some family fun this May half term? Then, why not splash out and treat you and your family to a beach holiday. We can’t believe it either, but Devon Beach Court is still available over the May half term break.
This superb two-bedroom beach side apartment in the popular North Devon coastal resort of Woolacombe. Ideally located on The Esplanade, where both the village and the beach are only a short stroll away.
Devon Beach Court enjoys a spacious open plan living space with comfortable lounge area, dining area and a well-equipped kitchen. It sleeps up to 4 guests in two bedrooms: a large double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a bunk bed room. A large communal terrace overlooking Barricane Beach provides the ideal spot for watching the sun set over the sea!
Just a short walk from the apartment is the main beach at Woolacombe, this has won numerous awards for its clean waves and golden sands that stretch for three-miles from Morte Point along to Baggy Point. It does get busy in those popular weeks, but you’ll find that there is still plenty of space for enjoy this great beach, whether you are looking to catch a wave or two, build sandcastles or simply bask in the sunshine.
For the evenings, pack up a picnic blanket and head across the road to Barricane Beach to enjoy a delicious homemade Sri Lankan Curry in a wonderful setting. The village also boasts a number of great places to grab something to eat such as The Red Barn, The Jube, Captains Table…
If you fancy a break from the beach, you are surrounded by National Trust land so there is an abundance of excellent walks with the most spectacular scenery. Or perhaps explore what else North Devon has to offer, where Exmoor National Park and a number of local family attractions are all just a short drive away.
