Wake up to glorious unspoilt Devon countryside. There are miles and miles of bridleways and countryside paths waiting to be explored by foot or by saddle, right on your doorstep. Days out at the beach on the stunning North Devon coastline are just a short drive away, as well as a number of local attractions.
Set near Barnstaple in North Devon, Courtyard Cottage (sleeps 4) is stylishly presented and furnished to a high standard throughout, making it the ideal retreat for couples, friends and small families who are looking for a relaxing getaway.
Inside this delightful character cottage, you’ll discover a cosy living area complete with underfloor heating and a wood-burning stove, smart TV and large comfy sofa. A well-equipped kitchen is fitted with high end Neff appliances, as well as washer/dryer, Nespresso coffee machine, plus a lovely dining area, perfect for leisurely breakfasts or supper.
Two beautifully presented bedrooms include a master bedroom with king-size bed and en-suite shower room, and a twin bedroom with two full size single beds. There is a separate family bathroom with a large walk-in shower, wash basin and WC.
Outside, there are four separate seating areas to choose from, so you can relax in the sun whether you are enjoying a morning coffee, or an evening meal. Guests can also store bikes and surfboards in an onsite garage, and have access to an outside tap and hose.
“Barnstaple is an excellent base for exploring North Devon and Courtyard Cottage couldn’t be situated better - a few minutes from the town centre (by car) but completely tucked away up a long private drive….beautifully decorated and equipped…this is probably the best cottage we have ever stayed in and is certainly high up on our list of places we would like to visit again” September 2021
