Sandymouth Bay Beach is a fantastic National Trust Beach 15 minutes north of Bude with  benches on the grass for lunchtime snacks and toilets in case they are needed. As the tide pushes out 2 miles of beach become available for lovely sandy walks with your family.

Fairy Cove in Paignton is a delightful dog friendly sandy beach with clear water for swimming. The beach is hidden behind the harbour on one side and the coastal point the other creating a safe haven of calm waters and protection from the wind.
