Late spring breaks in Devon and Cornwall

Discover why late spring and early summer is the best time for a break if you are not holidaying with kids....

Holidaying without kids? Perhaps, they'll be staying with family for a child-free break or have even flown the nest, or you are just not at this stage of life yet. Whatever, the reason then why not make the most of being able to holiday out of season in late spring and early summer.

The countryside is awake where woodlands are lined with bluebells, trees are blossoming and the hedgerows blooming. The weather is often fantastic, we often get a lot less rain (now slightly worried I have jinxed it) and it's warming up.

The crowds aren't here as they have to wait for the school holidays. This means you can enjoy quieter beaches. bridleways and coastal paths. The waves may be a little 'fresh' but the surf is good, and again you'll have plenty of space.

Your four-legged can come too. Devon, Cornwall and Scotland are very dog-friendly, where you'll be amazed how many places will welcome them, and some beaches still allow access all year round.

And even better, you can enjoy a break at such good value. We have plenty of last minute offers and seasonal discounts waiting to be snapped up. Most of our cottages, apartments & glamping pods will also accept short breaks during these quieter months too, so you don't need to book a full week either.

Sounds great? Check out our late availability, our offer & discounts or our smaller cottages pages. We're sure we can help you find the perfect property for your next break away.
