With 6 indoor tennis courts and subject to the weather condition a range of outdoor courts, Tarka Tennis Centre is ready for your family competition to take place. If you’d prefer a smaller ball and court, two table tennis tables are available.

Bicycle hire

The Tarka Trail is an old train track that now houses the renowned walking and cycle path connecting Barnstaple to many popular locations including Braunton, Instow and Bideford. In the Centre of Barnstaple you’ll have multiple bicycle hire companies including Bike it, Planet Bike and the Tarka Cycle Hire. Instow is roughly 6 miles from Barnstaple, a leisurely 45 minute cycle along the tarka trail will introduce some beautiful scenery as you travel the well trodden route to the Coastal village that sits opposite Appledore and Westward Ho!.
