Putts Cottage

Perfectly located between the lively North Devon village of Braunton, packed with great bars, restaurants and trendy surf shops and the trendy surf village of Croyde. Puts Cottage is an idyllic holiday cottage for a family get away. The long sandy beach at Saunton Sands is within walking distance and the beautiful Woolacombe Bay and Putsborough beach is just over the headland.

This newly renovated barn sleeps 5 people in two bedrooms. The cottage has the luxury of a communal heated pool available between May and October.

Puts Cottage is the ideal country bolt-hole, where you are surrounded by stunning North Devon countryside with a Unesco Biosphere a mile away at the Braunton Burrows, where you can walk for miles amongst the sand dunes and end up in the middle of Saunton Sands beach.

Braunton, is the largest village in England and is known as the “gateway to the beaches” and offers some great local pubs and some very cool restaurants, like Hang Loose, as well as a wealth of trendy shops and you can walk into Braunton from the cottage.

There are amazing countryside and coastal walks from the cottage, so you can walk over the dunes to the beach or over the headland at Saunton to Croyde or for the more intrepid, around Baggy Point to Putsborough and end up at Woolacombe.

The championship golf course at Saunton, is less than a mile up the road and provides two championship Linx, courses for all you golf lovers.

The barn has a newly fitted kitchen with all the essentials required for family cooking. The open plan living area is just off the kitchen, with a large dining table, ideal for the whole family to dine together after a fun day at the beach or just lounging by the pool. There is a large sofa and chairs for relaxing after a long day.

On the first floor, you will find a spacious Master bedroom with a large double bed and plenty of storage. The windows open up to spectacular views over Braunton Burrows.

The second bedroom is on the ground floor and has twin beds and a day bed, which can be turned into a double on request.

The family bathroom is also on the ground floor and has a bath with an overhead shower, plus a loo and sink.

Outside there is a large communal courtyard with a designated area for Puts Cottage, with a dining table and chairs plus a BBQ perfect for some al fresco dining.

There is a secure storage facility for bikes and a covered area for surfboards and wet suits to dry.

Further up the path, you will find lovely communal gardens with seating to enjoy the amazing views over the Burrows, this is also where the childrens play area is located. To the bottom of the garden, you will find the heated swimming pool available to all guests from 8am - 8pm from May to Oct. Children must be supervised at all times.

Puts Cottage also has an EV charging point, additional charges will apply and guests must provide their lead.
