Elements of the old barn still remain throughout the cottage delicately combined with modern fixtures and facilities to provide a high-quality self-catering experience in The popular coastal location of Croyde. 

The ground floor opens to a spacious foyer with an open plan living area to the left and a ground floor en-suite bedroom to the right. The ground floor bedroom has a king size bed with bedside tables, a large free standing chest of drawers and a makeup table. The sofa & wall mounted TV allow comfortable living throughout the day. The ground floor bedrooms ensuite bathroom has a walk in shower with a w/c, wash basin and heated towel rail. On the ground floor there is also a cloakroom which features a door to the patio.

The open plan living area offers a modern kitchen with ample appliances for a warm home cooked meal, which can be enjoyed around the grand dining table easily seating 6 people. The lounge area has 2 large sofas and a chair facing the wall mounted TV hanging above the electric decorative fireplace.

The grand staircase in the foyer guides you to the first floor which holds the twin bedroom, master bedroom and first floor family bathroom. The twin bedroom has 2 full sized single beds each with a bedside table, there is a sofa in one corner and a chest of drawers in the other. The family bathroom has a walk in shower, w/c, wash basin and heated towel rail. The large master bedroom has a king size bed, free standing wardrobe and an en-suite bathroom with a roll top bath, walk in shower, w/c and wash basin.

To the rear of the property is a private patio area with a large hot tub and garden furniture for alfresco dining and evenings relaxing in the warm water. The Root House has private parking for 2 cars and is just a 5 minute drive to the centre of Croyde.
