Ormrods is ideally positioned in an elevated location within the village of Withypool, set off a no-through lane. The property offers captivating, far-reaching views towards the Moor and overlooks the picturesque River Barle. Having undergone comprehensive refurbishments in recent years, Ormrods stands as a very comfortable three-bedroom detached house, showcasing a high standard of modern amenities and design. This residence is thoughtfully updated to provide a cozy and welcoming environment for its occupants.
Ormrods offers a unique setting within one acre of private gardens that extend directly down to the scenic River Barle. The living accommodation is strategically placed on the first floor to maximize the breathtaking views over the Moor, encompassing the south, east, and west directions. The living room and dining area are designed to embrace the surroundings, with bi-fold doors opening onto a south-facing balcony. This outdoor space is equipped with a table and chairs, providing an ideal spot to relish the tranquility of long summer evenings while enjoying the stunning vistas. The thoughtful design allows residents to seamlessly connect with the natural beauty that surrounds Ormrods.
Having undergone a comprehensive remodel in 2010, Ormrods now offers comfortable holiday accommodation for up to 6 guests. The entrance to the property is on the first floor, where you'll find the living room, kitchen-dining room, utility, one double bedroom, and a shower room with a toilet and hand basin.
On the lower level, there are two additional bedrooms, each featuring en-suite shower rooms for added convenience.
Ormrods welcomes up to two well-behaved dogs for a supplementary fee of £15 per dog. In some cases, the property may accommodate up to three small dogs, contingent on size and breed (please inquire). It's important to note that all dogs are accepted with the condition that they are not allowed on furniture or in the bedrooms. The utility room, equipped with underfloor heating, provides a warm space for dogs to rest.
For your convenience, a double dog kennel with separate runs is available in the garden, offering additional options for the well-being and comfort of your furry companions. Guests are reminded not to leave dogs unattended in the house and are expected to clean up after them at all times.
