Situated within the embrace of a captivating former mill, The Folly in Bratton Fleming unfolds its charm in the scenic valley beneath the village of Bratton Fleming in North Devon. This hidden gem is discreetly tucked away down a meandering private lane, ensuring a tranquil and secluded escape. Step through the expansive glazed double doors into the inviting embrace of The Folly's open-plan living area. Elegantly adorned with antiques and luxurious fabrics, this space exudes charm and comfort. The studio kitchen, equipped with modern conveniences, occupies a cozy corner, featuring a circular table and chairs nearby, complemented by a comfortable sofa for relaxation.
The bathroom, a sanctuary of indulgence, boasts a double-ended roll-top bath. Illuminated by a Victorian chandelier with a dimmer for ambiance, the space is adorned with a circular blue and white porcelain Georgian washstand (ingeniously plumbed in!) featuring a double-handed pitcher beneath, along with a toilet.
Nestled within a shared private drive alongside two other holiday properties, The Folly ensures individuality with its private parking area and gardens. It's worth noting that while each property enjoys its own space, the gardens are not enclosed, inviting guests to appreciate the collective beauty of the surroundings.
Kitchen; a ceramic hob (two rings), a combination oven/microwave/grill and a arder fridge with freezer compartment. Other equipment includes a toaster, a kettle, a selection of cookware and kitchen utensils plus beautiful china, glass and cutlery.
