Mill Cottage stands as a charming barn conversion, offering accommodations for up to six guests (plus a cot). Resting on a bustling farm within the picturesque Exmoor National Park, the property is cradled in a serene valley, gracefully positioned between the scenic Brendon Hills and the captivating Exmoor coast and countryside. This generously appointed accommodation boasts spacious interiors, meticulous furnishings, and top-tier amenities throughout.
The first floor is accessed from the rear of the property through the boot room/cloakroom with stone tiled flooring. A glassed doorway leads to a spacious living room/dining room with wood-burning stove, a TV, a DVD player, a CD player/radio and free wifi is available throughout the cottage. The large window takes advantage of the far-reaching valley views.
The newly fitted kitchen-dining room with Aga is accessed from the living area and is well-equipped with an electric cooker, a microwave, a fridge and a freezer, a dishwasher and a washing machine/tumble dryer. The dual aspect windows look out over farmland. There is an additional toilet with a hand basin on the first floor.
Mill Cottage features three ground-floor bedrooms: a generously proportioned master room adorned with a king-sized double bed, featuring a captivating arched doorway leading to the garden, an en-suite shower room, and a toilet. Additionally, there's a bunk room, also graced by an arched doorway to the garden, and a twin bedroom with an exposed wooden beam and an arched window. For added flexibility, the twin beds can be seamlessly zipped together to form a super-king bed upon request (kindly inform us at the time of booking). A recently installed family bathroom completes the offerings on the ground floor
Mill Cottage sits on a primarily sheep-focused farm, home to numerous grazing sheep. Adding to the vibrant setting, you'll find thriving free-range hens and Indian Runner ducks on the premises. The landscape is occasionally graced by the presence of Red, Fallow, and Roe deer, further enhancing the natural charm of the farm.
