My Favourite Cottages has learnt over the years how a holiday property website should tell its own story so that the happy ending is a booking.
We will create an individual, optimised website, designed to please Google and its fellow search engines. It’ll also be designed to wow your potential guests, and persuade them to hit the book now button.
My Favourite Cottages only designs websites for the self-catering sector and our goal is to be recognised for delivering great, original looking websites designed to capture the imagination of a potential booker, and to steer them easily through to the booking stage.
We pride ourselves on designing websites that look great and possess immediate appeal in the eyes of potential guests. We continually follow what works in website design (and what doesn’t). So, while our sites may incorporate similar successful design principles, each emerges looking completely different, and that is because each property is unique, from its size and appearance to its target market and location.
The Chalet at Saunton is one of our most premium properties, as such it deserved a website that reflected it's minimalist clean interior design and photography. We opted to create a website based on squares and large images with plenty of white space.Visit website
Devon Beach Court has been with us for several years, but their old website was starting to show its age, and didn't reflect the property as well as it needed to. We redesigned the website from the ground up to adhere to modern web standards, increasing the image sizes and better reflecting the seaside appeal of the apartment.Learn more
Talland croft is a deceptively large property in the wonderful village of Crantock in North Cornwall. As such we had a lot of photos to show off the property but no solid cover shot to make up the main focal point. Instead we opted to create a collage of photos to demonstrate every element of this well presented property.Visit website
Wheel Farm Cottages is a well established collection of 11 properties in Devon. As such, we had to respect the atmosphere and branding when creating the site. The design was kept minimal but informative, with less emphasis taken on style and more on the facilities and information. We also included social media feeds and highlighted the fantastic Trip Advisor reviews at the top of the homepage.Learn more
Similar to Wheel Farm Cottages above, Lower Aylescott is a collection of properties within a beautiful valley. However after visiting the location it was obvious a different design route was required. We opted for a friendly watercolour painted effect with floral decorations to match the green imagery and hand-painted map.Visit website
Our managing director Harry has been letting out his property "The Byre" for many years, and had one of the first websites designed by the company! The internet has changed a lot since then, and a new website and images was in order. The new design combines the contemporary design of the property with colourful friendliness that reflects the size and nature of the area. The two go perfectly with the new images which are bright, welcoming, and honest.Learn more
We did something a little different for South Patchole, instead of breaking up the homepage and the property page like most websites, we combined the two so that a booker can quickly scroll down the page and get a good impression of the property with minimal interaction.Visit website
Warcombe Farmhouse is another property that has been with us for a long time, and needed a reboot! The owner, Geoff is one of the friendliest owners we know and so the new design outlines the joyful nature of the property, with a wacky font and wavy lines we believe this website invokes a childish excitement that bookers seem to love!Learn more
