Elthorne stands as a captivating residence from the 1930s, gracefully detached and situated in a prime location that offers breathtaking views spanning from Porlock Weir to Hurlstone Point. We assure you that the enchanting landscape and the ever-shifting play of light over the Bay will never fail to captivate your senses.
Nestled in an elevated position above the road, this expansive residence treats you to sweeping panoramic vistas of Porlock Bay. Boasting four bedrooms, with one on the lower level and three on the first floor, along with three well-appointed bathrooms, the property comfortably accommodates up to eight guests.
At the forefront of the residence, the sitting room, with a smart TV, two leather sofas, and two armchairs plus a cosy wood-burner and dining room offers an inviting space with a table and eight chairs, and splendid coastal views. The well-equipped kitchen, with an electric double oven and hob, a fridge, a freezer, a dishwasher and a microwave. Other kitchen equipment includes. a toaster, a kettle, a selection of cookware, saucepans and kitchen utensils, crockery, glasses and cutlery. The kitchen is located towards the rear, and connects seamlessly to a utility area leading to the spacious downstairs bedroom, featuring twin beds. A recently added downstairs bathroom and an additional toilet enhance convenience on this level.
Ascending upstairs, a family bathroom awaits, complete with a bath featuring a shower over it, as well as a toilet and hand basin. Complementing this, there's a separate shower room featuring its own toilet and hand basin. The bedrooms on this floor are generously sized, with the two front-facing rooms boasting magnificent coastal views and double beds. Overlooking the rear garden is a twin bedroom, complete with a built-in wardrobe.
The gardens stand out as a magnificent highlight of this property, meticulously landscaped to create numerous inviting spaces for relaxation, al-fresco dining, and entertaining. Each of these areas takes full advantage of the elevated position, offering unrivalled panoramic views.
Accessible through pedestrian gates at both garden path entrances, the entire garden is securely fenced. The garage provides a versatile space, suitable for securely storing cars, bicycles, or other outdoor equipment. It's worth noting that for safety reasons, e-bikes and batteries should be stored away from the house, and the garage offers a secure solution for locking them. Certain sections of the garden feature steep terrain, and we advise that it may not be suitable for young children.
