Cottage Overview

Berwyn in Crantock is a five bedroom holiday cottage on the north Cornish coast with a superb beach, ideal for a family looking for a large holiday cottage in this popular village. Berwyn is perfect for a beach holiday, enjoy the surf and stay in a superb Victorian town house, which combines modern day facilities with Victorian elegance and many original features.

This large spacious family friendly self-catering holiday let is just a short walk to the beach and village centre. There are five bedrooms, which comfortably sleep up to 10 guests and provides ample space for all generations to relax and unwind together.

On the ground floor, the lounge features a large wood burning stove, plenty of comfortable sofas and a flat-screen TV. There is also a charming snug and a separate dining room.

The kitchen is well-equipped to cater for large groups holidaying together. It benefits from a double range cooker, induction hob, microwave, dishwasher plus much more. There is also a separate utility room, home to the washing machine and tumble dryer and between the kitchen and dining room is the Aga Room, this was the original kitchen and features a period ornamental Aga.  

The five bedrooms include a spacious master bedroom with king-sized bed and an en-suite shower room on the attic floor. On the first floor, there is a twin bedroom, a double bedroom and the two other bedrooms can be made up either as a double or twin, based on your requirements. There are also two family bathrooms: one with a feature roll top bath and the other has a large modern shower unit.


Berwyn also benefits from its own private secluded garden and sun terrace, which can be accessed via the kitchen, lounge or utility room. It’s ideal for families with small children or for those holidaying with their dogs.

Please note: Berwyn is currently ongoing some refurbishments, where the house is being renovated. Therefore, some of the features and facilities may change as advertised above and the current photos possibly won't reflect the final refurbished holiday cottage. If you have any questions about the renovations, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

About Crantock

The North Cornish village of Crantock is a popular choice for families and dog owners. It’s home to one of the best beaches and the village has a well-stocked village shop, a tea room and two good pubs. It’s also just 5 miles away from Newquay, where its Fistral Beach is always popular with surfers and water sports enthusiasts. Newquay Zoo and Blue Reef also based in Newquay provide great day outs. Nearby, the South West Coastal Path provides an excellent choice of walks for walking enthusiasts.
