In light of the recent government announcement groups of more than six (including infants) will no longer be able to holiday together within England from Monday 14th September.
Please note families from a single household of more than six are not affected by this law, and those that have formed a support bubble, which is more than six people will also be okay to continue with their holiday as planned.
This law is known as the ‘Rule of Six’ and breeching it does result in fines. Further guidance is available from the government website.
If you think your booking is affected by this new law please contact My Favourite Cottages via email. Our phone lines are very busy and the team are dealing with bookings in order of arrival date.
The Scottish Government has today announced new rules that will come in to affect on Monday 14th September. The new rules are that from Monday 14th it will only be possible for a maximum of six people from two households to gather either indoors or outdoors. Please note children under the age of 12 who are part of the two households are not included in the six. Single households of more than six or households that have formed a support bubble that is large than six are also exempt from the rule.
The new ruling is in affect until October 5th at the moment but could be extended.

We are delighted to re-open our doors, however, the travel industry is a long way off getting back to normal, and the safety of our guests and housekeepers is our top priority. To this effect, there will be some changes to our normal operation so that the property can be thoroughly cleaned between guests, and cleaned as safely as possible.
