We do understand that it’s hard not to feel unsettled and concerned regarding the extensive media coverage and reports of the spread of the Coronavirus (Covid-19).
We’d like to reassure all guests who are booked at our holiday cottages that we are closely monitoring the developing situation and will follow advice and guidelines given by the Government.
From recent Government advice issued on 22nd March, it states that essential travel does not include travel to holiday homes, whether for isolation purposes or holidays. People should remain in their primary residence. Obviously, our agency is not in a position to enforce any travel restrictions, but following on the government guidance, we are therefore strongly advising against UK travel until the end of April.
Therefore, this means we won’t be accepting any new bookings with arrivals that fall before the 12th June. However you can make bookings with us for after this date.
If your arrival dates fall between today and the 30th April 2020, the terms of normal cancellation policy will apply (see here). However, we are willing to transfer the dates of your holiday to new dates within 12 months of your original arrival date, subject to price and availability, and at the discretion of the property owner.
As you can imagine our office is currently very busy, so we would appreciate your patience whilst we deal with the transfer of booking dates and answering queries.
