The town is not far from England's first National Heritage Site - The Jurassic Coast and the pretty seaside town of Sidmouth, so you could rent one of the many holiday cottages or go "Glamping" and make the most of the stunning Devon countryside around the town.

There are loads of things to do in the town and there is usually some kind of festival taking place, like the Food and Families Festival, Pixie Day in June and the Otter Vale Art Society's Show in August.
