This quaint charming two bedroom cottage, sleeping up to 4 people has been furnished to a very high standard. It benefits from a charming countryside kitchen that is well-equipped with all your modern day appliances and a dining table comfortably seating up to 4 guests. A traditionally furnished living room combines ‘old and new’ with exposed wooden beams, a large Inglenook fireplace with wood burner and a new 32” widescreen TV., DVD player and Hi-Fi.
A renovated stone winding staircase from the living room leads you to the first floor and the main bedroom, which has a double bed, and mounted TV with DVD. A family bathroom has a bath, with optional shower, wash basin and WC. The second bedroom at Rock Cottage can either be accessed from the main bedroom or a 2nd staircase near the front door. This bedroom has zip and link beds so this room can either be used as a twin or double bedroom and it also has an en-suite WC with a wash basin.
Outside, there is off-road parking for two cars and its garden benefits from two patio terraces to take full advantage of the summer sunshine.

Bedroom 2: Twin/double bedroom - zip and link beds allow this bedroom to be set up either as a double or two singles, plus there is an en-suite WC with wash basin.
Storage heater, wood burning stove, a small basket of logs is supplied between Sept-May, large bags of logs can be purchased from the owner, AEG hotplate, AEG self-cleaning oven and grill, microwave, toaster, fridge/freezer, washing machine/dryer, dishwasher, WiFi, portable DAB radio, TV and DVD in main bedroom, bedlinen and towels provided (beach towels not supplied), travel cot (please bring own cot bedding), high chair, short breaks available, 10 miles from the coast, less than 0.5 miles from the nearest pub,, two terraces, off street parking for 2 cars, no smoking, weekly changeover day is Friday, dog free cottage, supermarket delivery. Please note, the age and structure of the cottage makes it unsuitable for the less mobile
The small North Devon village of Goodleigh has a church, school, village hall and excellent village pub, serving local ales and home-cooked food. There are also several footpaths from the village, where stunning views over Goodleigh and towards Codden Hill can be enjoyed. Goodleigh is only a short drive to the larger town of Barnstaple, where there is a cinema, theatre, indoor ten-pin bowling and an excellent choice of pubs, restaurants, shops and cafes. The stunning North Devon coastline and its spectacular golden beaches is also with easy reach, as well as Exmoor National Park. There are also numerous local attractions nearby including National Trust Arlington Court, RHS Rosemoor and Exmoor Zoo to name a few.
