Quakers

Quakers Cottage is a two bedroom annexe located in a wing of the thatched farmhouse at Lea Hill, just outside Membury in the Blackdown Hills. This beautiful annexe set over two floors comfortably sleeps up to 4 guest in two bedrooms, which both have en-suite bathrooms.

On the ground floor, the kitchen/dining room includes plenty of countryside charm with quarry tiled flooring and exposed stone work. The galley kitchen, none the less has everything needed for a self-catering holiday, and appliances include a microwave, a washing machine, a fridge, a dishwasher and an electric oven and hob.

From the kitchen, there is a bright living area, with views of the landscaped gardens and local countryside and features a double sofa, armchairs, an electric wood-burner and TV with DVD player.

On the first floor,the two bedrooms include a pretty double with its own en-suite bathroom with a shower, wash basin and WC. The second bedroom, overlooks the garden and can either be made up as a twin or a double bedroom. It has two 3ft single beds which can be joined together to make a large 6ft super king double, if required. This bedroom also has its own en-suite bathroom, which has a super-large bath with shower overhead, wash basin and WC.

Quaker Cottage has its own garden that can be accessed via french doors from the kitchen. This has table and chairs, ideal dining al-fresco style. Guests staying at Quakers are also welcome to use the large communal gardens and admire the peaceful countryside setting. For guests holidaying with their dogs, there is also a dog exercise field.
