Nuthatch

Nuthatch Cottage, one of the four character cottages at Lea Hill Cottages located just outside the quaint historic Devon village of Membury to offer couples and families a wonderful affordable countryside retreat surrounded by beautiful unspoilt Devon countryside.

This spacious countryside holiday cottage comfortably sleeps up to 4 guests in two double bedrooms but can accommodate a further two guests if required on a double sofa bed.

On the ground floor of this two storey dog friendly property, the entrance from the garden leads into the dining area. This features a lovely antique dining table and seating, and provides a lovely spot for family suppers. There is also a comfy sofa, which converts into a double sofa bed for two additional guests staying at the cottage. From the dining area, there is a well-equipped kitchen, with a fridge, dishwasher, an electric oven and hob, a washer/dryer and a freezer.

A bright and spacious living room boasts wonderful countryside views and features a large sofa, armchairs, a TV and electric wood-burning stove. There is also separate hallway with space for hanging coats and storing walking boots, plus a ground floor cloakroom with WC and wash basin.

Upstairs, there are two good-sized en-suite double bedrooms. The first double bedroom overlooks the gardens and its bathroom is fitted with a bath, wash basin and WC. The second bedroom enjoys lovely countryside views. Its bathroom is very large and has Jack and Jill entrances, it also features a separate shower, bath, wash basin and WC.

Outside, there is a private sheltered garden that provides a lovely relaxing spot for guests at Nuthatch cottage. There are also communal gardens to use and a dog exercise field.
